Newsletters deserve a cult-like following.
I’m launching a fiction newsletter
Hyperspace Hobo is my newsletter, featuring my fiction, written by me.
I’m tired of waiting
For a good chunk of my adult life, I’ve written stories. Standard methods of publication and I are not friends. Substack offers something different. I’m not getting any younger and I’m ready to stop being undiscovered.
This will be a community for strange fiction
This will start out with stories by me, and stories about those stories, but I hope to grow it into a community for people who enjoy various types of strange fiction in multiple forms. Books, tv, movies, short stories, etc. will include our whistle-stops.
This is a subscription thang
New editions will be released 2-4 times per month, depending on how difficult the hoboing is. Subscribers will never miss an update, unless they’re not paying attention.
Currently, all content is free. Eventually, I will start asking for a subscription fee. Free subscribers will gain access to free stories and portions of some pay-only stories.
Paid subscribers will access all Hyperspace Hobo content, learn about many strange things in the universe, and enjoy the legitimate, soul-deepening satisfaction of supporting a hobo.
Please share and subscribe
Let’s just come out and say it. Newsletters deserve a cult-like following. This is where you come in. Share it if you like it. Subscribe if you like it.
In the free stock photo above, many people are waiting in a colorless world of waiting, because no one shared The Hyperspace Hobo with them. They are sad.
In the free stock photo below, many people are celebrating because some thoughtful, benevolent person shared The Hyperspace Hobo with them, and now their world is joyful, colorful, and full of wonder with no waiting.
The free stock photo below is a metaphor for people who don’t share The Hyperspace Hobo. You don’t kick people off of cliffs, do you? Share!
We’re gonna have fun
For most of my day jobs, I’ve done business writing of one sort or another. Writing will be my business here, but it’ll be way more fun. Strap yourselves in!
